Unique To Our Fishery
Here at John Wilsons Fishery we have the unique ability to weigh all fish from 5lb to 500lb quickly and more importantly safely. The fish only leaves the water for as long as it takes to read the scales using our own unique weighing system designed and built for us. This has been place since June 2020.
We don’t believe in estimating or second guessing fish weights. You as an angler will know exactly what your fish weights are and hopefully a new P.B will be the fruits of your labour. This also allows us to monitor all fish weights throughout the year and feed our stock accordingly.
Importantly we use this system to also weigh all fish when they are brought to the lake as new introductions. The only species that’s isn’t weighed is Arapaima.
